Regualtions & Requirements: Renter’s & Operator’s
- Driver’s born after January 1st, 1988 must have a “Boater’s Education Certificate. (Boater’s License) to drive a boat or jet ski
- Picture Id’s (Required) for all driver’s and boater education-certification
- If you don’t have one you can take a temporary one on site. This course takes about 10-15 mins to get certified. Or get certified online @ www.boat-ed.com/florida
- Restrictions: You must be 18 years old with a valid US driver’s license or valid form of ID to rent a personal watercraft. You can be 16 years of age to operate a personal watercraft with a picture ID and a boater’s license. If you are over age 18 but were born after January 1st, 1988, you will need to arrive 1/2 hour early to obtain a boaters license.
